9. Troubleshooting
If your appliance fails to function as required, please try this
checklist first. Perhaps there is only a minor problem and you
can solve it yourself.
DANGER! Do not attempt to repair the appliance your-
self under any circumstances.
Fault Possible causes/Action
The LED 5 does not
glow while charging.
• Is the appliance being supplied with
power?
• Check the connections.
• Is the appliance fitted correctly into
the charging stand 15?
The appliance can-
not be switched on.
• Is the rechargeable battery flat?
• Did you press the release button 6
when switching on?
• Is the appliance connected to the
power supply? If so the appliance
cannot be switched on. This is a pro-
tective function.
You experience a
pulling sensation
when shaving and/or
the shave is less
close than usual. • Oil the shaving foil 1.
• If that does not help, it may be nec-
essary to replace the shaving foil 1.
