Intended use
This is a consumer electronics device. It is a karaoke kit designed for
connection to a DVD player and television.
It is only designed for private use and not for industrial or commercial
purposes. Furthermore, the device may not be used outdoors or in
tropical climates. Only connection cables and external devices may
be used that comply with the safety standards and the electromagnet-
ic compatibility and shielding quality of this device. When connecting
peripheral devices always ensure that the cables are not too short
and that they do not exert strain on the connectors!
Notes on CE conformity
The karaoke kit meets the basic requirements and other relevant reg-
ulations of the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, the Low Voltage Directive
2006/95/EC and the ErP Directive 2009/125/EC. The EC conformity
declaration can be found at the end of this manual. Never make any
unauthorised modifications to the device or the supplied accessories.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for damage resulting
from unauthorised modifications. You will void your warranty if you
make any unauthorised modifications. Only use the accessories ap-
proved by the manufacturer. If you are not using the device within the
Federal Republic of Germany, you must observe the regulations and
laws in the country of use.
