Troubleshooting
Warning of potential appliance
damage:
Do not attempt to dismantle the scale or to carry out
repairs yourself. You could potentially damage the
sensitive electronic components.
Repairs to your scale may only be carried out by
qualified service personnel!
No liability will be accepted for damage resulting
from improper use and/or the opening of the ap-
pliance!
If incorrect displays appear, please verify that the
correct language is set. It could be that the weight
is displayed in the wrong unit (kg or lb).
In cases when nothing is indicated in the display 2,
please check to ensure the batteries are installed
according to their polarities. If need be, correct the
batteries insertions as appropriate.
If these measures do not correct the problem, please
contact the appropriate service partner for your
country.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved dis-
posal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste dis-
posal centre.
Disposal of batteries/accumulators
Used batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of in household waste. Every consumer is
legally obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection
site of his community/city district or at a retail store.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that batteries
are disposed of in a non-polluting manner. Only
dispose of batteries/cells when they are fully dis-
charged.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.
