Troubleshooting
Defect Cause Solution
The appliance is not
working.
The mains plug is not connected to the
mains power. Insert the plug into a mains
power socket.
The mains power socket is defective.
Use a diff erent mains power
socket.
The appliance is defective. Contact Customer Services.
The indicator lamp 1
illuminates and goes
off again repeatedly.
The appliance is maintaining the tempera-
ture. To do this, it has to heat up briefl y
every so often. When this occurs, the
indicator lamp 1 comes on.
This is not a defect.
The indicator lamp 1
does not illuminate.
The appliance is defective. Contact Customer Services.
The appliance has heated up. This is not a defect.
