4.1. CHARGING: Ensure that you read and understand section 1.1: 'ELECTRICAL SAFETY' BEFORE USING THIS TOOL.
4.1.1.
Place the battery fi rmly into the charger (see fi g.2) ensuring that the stem of the battery is located correctly (it will only fi t one way).
4.1.2. When connected to the mains supply, the charge indicator light will show a red aspect, denoting that the battery is charging.
4.1.3. The change to a steady green light shows that the battery is fully charged.
4.1.4. When the charging cycle is complete, as in 4.1.3., unplug the charger from the mains supply and remove the battery (it is normal for
the battery and charger to become warm).
4.1.5. Charge the battery every six months if the riveter is not being used.
4.2. FITTING THE HOOK (if required):
4.2.1. With the battery removed, present the hook horizontally as in fi g.3. The hook may be fi tted either side.
4.2.2. Spring the outer ends of the hook outward until they locate in the slots provided.
4.2.3. When the ends spring back, rotate the hook through 90°.
4.2.4. Removal is the reverse of 4.2.1 to 4.2.3.

4. PREPARATION
Suitable for aluminium, steel, stainless steel and copper rivets up to 4.8mm. Powered by 14.4V 1.8Ah battery with a pulling force up to 6000N,
capable of pulling up to 200 rivets on one full charge. Hardened steel jaw assembly, which automatically returns to start position once the rivet
has been secured. Supplied with four riveting nozzles, spanner and 1hr charger. Metal case for safe and secure storage.
