Before use, ensure that the mains voltage
available is the same as the required operating
voltage for the device (230–240 V~).
The product may only be used with the
included power adapter (THDQ-D-P300010 /
THDQ-D-P240024).
Before connecting the device to the mains you
should always check the light chain and the
mains adapter for any damage.
Never use the light chain if you discover that it
is damaged in any way.
This light set‘s external flexible wiring is non-
replaceable. Hence if it becomes damaged
you must dispose of the entire light set.
Never open any of the electrical parts or insert
any kind of object into them.
Protect the mains cable from sharp edges,
mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
Always unplug the power pack from the socket
before installation, dismantling or cleaning.
Never touch the light chain plug or the light
chain itself with wet hands.
Keep the light chain and mains adapter away
from moisture.
The light chain must not be electrically connected
to another ligth chains.
If the light chain is not in use for any length of
time (e.g. holidays), disconnect them from the
power supply.
If you have any questions about the product or
are unsure about any of its aspects, please seek
the advice of an electrical equipment specialist.
Only use the string lights with the supplied power
pack for the type (Model No.: THDQ-D-P300010
for model A, B, G and THDQ-D-P240024 for
model D); all warranty claims will otherwise
expire.
The light chain is protected against splashes of
water (IP44) as long as the socket meets the
minimum protection standard.
Q use
Insert the plug on end of the light set 1 into
the socket of the mains adapter 2 .
Turn the connecting cap 4 of the mains lead
clockwise to fix the connection.
Insert the mains adapter 2 into the mains
socket. The light set is switched on.
Pull the mains adapter 2 out of the mains
socket to switch off the light set.
note: The bulbs are connected in series. If
one bulb is defective, up to 10 bulbs may not
light up.
Please note that the power adapter continues
to draw a small amount of power even if the
lamp is turned off as long as the power
adapter is plugged into a power outlet.
Q Cleaning and care

First pull the mains adapter out of the mains socket.

For reasons of electrical safety the device must
never be cleaned with water or other liquids or
immersed in water.
Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items.
This would damage the device.
Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for
cleaning.
Q Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.
