9. ATTACHING THE FAN BLADES

10. INSTALLING THE LIGHT FIXTURE
CAUTION: Remove the five rubber shipping
blocks attached to the face of the motor.
These blocks keep the motor from shifting
during shipping and MUST be removed during
installation.
Step 1. Place a blade on the blade bracket.
Attach the blade to the bracket using the
screws, metal washers and fiber washers
provided. (Fig. 16)
Make sure the blade is straight when set on
the blade bracket. Tighten each mounting
screw and then repeat this procedure for each
blade.
Step 2. Attach each blade assembly to the
motor using "Pre-Installed" mounting screws
on each blade bracket. (Fig 16)
NOTE: Make sure these mounting screws are
securely tightened.
1. Remove 1 of the 3 screws from the
mounting ring and loosen the other 2 screws
(do not remove). (Fig. 17)
2. Place the key holes on the mounting plate
over the 2 screws previously loosened from
the mounting ring, turn mounting plate until it
locks in place at the narrow section of the key
holes. Secure by tightening the 2 screws
previously loosened and the one previously
removed. (Fig. 17)
