Hammer stop (Fig. 7)
Your hammer drill is equipped with a hammer stop facility for smooth drilling.
To deactivate the hammer action, turn the lever switch (5) clockwise to position (b)
To reactivate the hammer action, the lever switch (5) has to be reset to position (a).
7.6
Drill stop (Fig. 8)
You can deactivate the drilling action of the hammer drill when using it for chiselling work.
To do so, turn the lever selector (6) so that the mark (c)
coincides with the arrow (a) on
the machine case.

Important! When hammer drilling you will require a low pressure. Too much
pressure will place unnecessary load on the motor. Check the drill bits
regularly. Re-sharpen or replace blunt drill bits.
8 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention !Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power
plug.
8.1
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
8.2
Replacing Coal Brushes
Remove and check the carbon brushes regurarly. Replace when they have worn down to the
limit mark. Keep the carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders. Both carbon
brushes must be replaced at the same time. Only use original carbon brushes.
