§ Remove the drain bolt, then move the fuel valve lever to the ON position.
§ After all the fuel has drained into the container, reinstall the drain bolt and washer.
Tighten the drain bolt securely.

12 TROUBLE SHOOTING
ENGINE WILL NOT
START
Possible Cause
Correction
1.Check fuel.
Out of fuel.
Refuel
Bad fuel;engine stored
without treating or draining
fuel, of refueled with bad fuel
Drain the fuel tank and
carburetor. Refuel with fresh fuel.
2.Remove and inspect
spark plug.
Spark plug faulty, fouled, or
improperly gapped.
Replace the spark plug.
Spark plug wet with fuel
(flooded engine).
Dry and reintall spark plug.
