BEWARE OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Leaks can put your life at risk from
electric shocks. Carefully check that

all connections are watertight. Also ensure that
all wires of electric appliances are correct and
have been securely installed.

Any leakage or sudden escape of water can

cause considerable damage to buildings and
property. All connections must therefore be
checked carefully to ensure that they are tight.

Familiarise yourself prior to installation with all

local conditions, e.g. water connections and
shut-off device.

Assembly

Installing the fitting

1. Shut off the main water supply. Allow

the remaining water to run off.

2. Screw the threaded sleeve with the short thread

12

into the ring nut

16

.

3. Guide the two hose tails

15

through the threaded

sleeve

12

.

4. Screw the two hose tails

15

hand-tight into the

connections

21 a

,

21 b

provided for them on the

underside of the tap (Fig. B). The two hoses are
identical and suitable for either hot or cold water.

5. Place the sealing ring

9

into the groove on

the underside of the ring nut

16

.

6. Insert the hose tails

15

and the threaded sleeves

12

through the opening in the draining board.

7. Push the seal

10

and the metal washer

11

from below over the threaded sleeve

12

.

8. Screw the ring nut

13

on to the threaded

sleeve

12

so that the tap can be fastened to

the draining board. When doing this take into
account the space required to swing the tap
from one side to the other.

9. Tighten the locking screws

14

using a Philips

screwdriver to further fix the ring nut

13

in place.

10. Connect the hose tails

15

to the water connec-

tion pipes.

CAUTION:

Do not twist the hoses or place them under

tension.

Check all connections carefully after first-time

installation to make sure that they are tight.
In the event of incorrect installation, all waranty
claims – particularly in relation to subsequent
damage – are excluded.

Use

Bringing into use

Note:

If the tap has not been used for a long period

flush the pipes through thoroughly in order to avoid
stagnation and build-up of residues.
1. Open the water supply stopcocks.
2. Pull the lever

2

in the direction of the arrow

and swivel it to the right or left to regulate

the strength or temperature of the water flow.

3. Press the changeover button

1

on the spray

head to change from water jet to spray jet. This
function is helpful when cleaning vegetables
and fruit as they could be damaged by normal
water jets. Press the changeover button

1

on

the spray head again to return to a normal
water jet.

4. Push the lever

2

in the direction of the arrow

to stop the flow of water.

Hot water:

Turn the lever

2

to the right.

Cold water:

Turn the lever

2

to the left.

Check operation of the mixer. To do so, swing

the lever

2

into all permissible positions.

Please check the connections regularly to
ensure that they are tight.

Pull the spray head down slightly and then
forward out of the holder to have freedom of
movement of the spray head when in use.
