Cleaning and Care
• Clean the hand element 2 and the sandglass 6 only with a soft and
lightly moistened cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents. They can
damage the plastic surfaces.
• After use, clean the brush heads 1 thoroughly under running water.
We recommend cleaning the brush heads 1 in a standard commercial
cleaning fl uid for prosthetics every 2 - 4 weeks. After about 3 months,
at the latest however when the bristles bend outwards, you should fi t
a new brush head 1.
Warning regarding appliance damage!
Do not use sharp objects to remove dried-on toothpaste from the hand
element 2, they could damage the seals and thus the appliance.
Changing the batteries
When the movement become noticably weaker, the batteries must be
exchanged.
• Open the battery compartment by sliding the
the battery compartment lid 5 downwards and
remove the old batteries.
• Insert two new batteries of the type AA/LR6 1.5 V.
Always use batteries of the same type and never
use a new and an old battery together.
• Ensure that the battery has the correct polarity
when inserting it. This is marked on both contacts
inside the battery compartment. Please observe
the adjacent drawing.
• Replace the battery compartment lid 5 so that
it audibly engages and is fi rmly closed.
