Maintenaining your CD player
Cleaning the case
Wipe with a soft cloth. If the case is very dirty, moisten the cloth with a
weak solution of non-caustic detergent and water.
The CD skips
during play. The CD or lens is dirty. Clean or replace the CD, or clean
the lens.
Strong shaking or vibrations. Place the CD player on a flat and
stable surface without vibration.
The CD player is
programmed to skip a track. Quit the Program mode.
The time is
reset to
“12:00” The battery is not connected
correctly or is dead. Check the battery.
The clock has not been set. Set the clock.
The alarm
does not turn
on. The FUNCTION switch is
not set to AUTO. Set the FUNCTION switch to
AUTO.
The clock is not set. Set the clock.
The alarm time is not set. Set the alarm time.
No sound or
poor sound on
the radio. The power is not on Press the POWER button to turn
on the power.
The station is not tuned in
correctly. Retune the station.
FM - The antenna is not
correctly adjusted. Adjust the FM antenna for better
reception.
AM - The player is not
positioned for good
reception. Rotate the player for better
reception.
Volume set too low. Turn up the volume.
Warning
To avoid the risk of fire or shock, unplug the AC power
connector before cleaning the player.
