Preparing the tool for use
Switching on / off the cordless screw-
driver
Switching on:
♦
To start the appliance squeeze on the ON /OFF
switch and then keep it pressed down.
Switching off :
♦
To stop the appliance, release the ON / OFF
switch .
Changing the direction of rotation
Clockwise:
♦
Slide the direction of rotation switch to the
left.
♦
Press the ON / OFF switch . You can now
screw in the screws.
Anti-clockwise:
♦
Slide the direction of rotation switch to the
right.
♦
Press the ON / OFF switch . You can now
screw out the screws.
Lock:
♦
Slide the direction of rotation switch into the
middle position. The ON / OFF switch is
now locked.
Adjusting the speed
The ON / OFF switch has a variable speed
control. Lightly pressing the ON / OFF switch
will result in a low speed. Increasing the pressure
will increase the speed.
Switching LED light on / off
Switching on:

Press and hold the ON / OFF switch .
Switching off :
♦
Release the ON/OFF switch .
Torque setting
The torque for a specifi c screw size can be set using
the torque setting . The required torque is depend-
ent on an number of factors:
- the type and hardness of the material being
worked.
- the type and length of the screws being used.
- the demands being put on the screw joint.
When the set torque is reached, this is indicated
by the actuation of the clutch.
Battery indicator
During use the battery LED indicates the remain-
ing charge:
red/ orange / green: maximum charge / power
red/ orange:
medium charge / power
red:
low charge - recharge battery
Tips and tricks
Screw bits are designated with their dimensions
and their shape. If you are unsure, always try the
particular screw bit out to see whether it sits in the
screw head without any free play.
Maintenance and cleaning
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Pull
the Battery charger out of the mains
socket before carrying out any cleaning
of the device.
The cordless screwdriver is maintenance-free.

Always keep the device clean, dry and free of
oil or grease.
■
Do not allow any liquids to enter the device.
■
Use a cloth to clean the housing. Never use
petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that might
attack plastic.
