Veiligheidsvoorschriften
♦ Ga nooit over het aangegeven maximale toerental!
♦ Draag nauw passende beschermingskleding en
een veiligheidsbril!
♦ Gebruik, indien beschikbaar, een beschermingskap
voor de machine!
Veiligheidsaanwijzingen volgens
DIN EN 1083-2
♦ Er mogen geen borstels worden gemonteerd op
machines die een toerental bereiken boven het
maximaal toegelaten toerental van de borstels.
♦ Beschadigde borstels mogen niet worden
gebruikt.
♦ Roestverkleuringen of andere aanwijzingen van
chemische of mechanische veranderingen aan
het bezettingsmateriaal kunnen leiden tot een
vroegtijdige tekortkoming van de borstels.
♦ Borstels moeten in geschikte frames, houders of
kasten zo worden bewaard, zodat ze beschermd
zijn tegen de volgende invloeden:
1) hoge luchtvochtigheid, hitte, water of andere
vloeistoff en, die kunnen leiden tot beschadi-
ging van de borstel;
2) Zuren of zuurdampen, die kunnen leiden tot
schade;
3) Temperaturen die zo laag zijn dat ze kunnen
leiden tot condensatie, als ze in een gebied
met hogere temperaturen worden bewaard;
4) Vervorming van eender welk onderdeel van
de borstel.
Gebruiksaanbevelingen
De arbeid wordt uitsluitend geleverd door de draad-
punten (zie afb. 1).
U moet wel licht duwen bij het borstelen (zie afb. 1).
Harder duwen verbetert het resultaat niet maar ver-
mindert de levensduur van de borstels en vereist een
hoger aandrijvingsvermogen (zie afb. 2).

Foute werkwijze
Bij stationair geplaatste borstels altijd onder het
midden van de borstel werken (zie afb. 1).
Als er hogere snelheden en een sterkere duwdruk nodig
zijn, moet u meer aggressieve borstels gebruiken.
Dat kan door:
− sterkere draden;
− kortere bezettingen;
− of door een andere borstelbezetting (gevlochten
in plaats van gegolfd).
Optimalisatie van het gebruik van
de borstels
Na enkele seconden moet u het gewenste borsteleff ect
kunnen zien.
Borsteleff ect is te klein:
− toerental verhogen (letten op max. toerental!);
− borstels met een grotere diameter gebruiken;
− kies een kortere bezetting;
− kies een sterkere draadbezetting of andere
borsteltypes.

Borsteleff ect is te groot:
− verminder het toerental;
− duw minder hard op de borstel;
− kies een langere bezetting;
− kies een dunnere draadbezetting of andere
borsteltypes.

In caso di spazzole impiegate in modo stazionario,
lavorare sempre al di sotto del centro delle spazzole
(vedi ill. 1).
Se sono necessarie velocità maggiori e una pressione
più forte, si devono utilizzare spazzole più aggressive.
Ciò lo si ottiene con:
− uno spessore maggiore del fi lo metallico;
− una ridotta lunghezza delle setole;
− o un altro tipo di disposizione delle setole
(a treccia invece che a onda).
Ottimizzazione dell'impiego delle
spazzole
L'eff etto delle spazzole deve subentrare entro pochi
secondi.
Se l'eff etto delle spazzole è troppo ridotto:
− aumentate il numero di giri (tenere presente il
numero di giri massimo!);
− utilizzate un diametro delle spazzole maggiore;
− scegliete una lunghezza inferiore delle spatole;
− scegliete un fi lo metallico più spesso o altri tipi
di spazzole.
Se l'eff etto delle spazzole è troppo forte:
− riducete il numero di giri;
− riducete la pressione;
− scegliete una lunghezza maggiore delle spatole;
− scegliete un fi lo metallico più sottile o altri tipi di
spazzole.

With your purchase you have decided in favour of a
high quality product. Read these safety and operating
instructions attentively before using the appliance
for the fi rst time and retain these instructions for later
reference. Also, pass them on to whoever might
acquire the appliance at a future date.
Safety instructions
♦ Do not exceed the specifi ed maximum rotation
speed!
♦ Wear close-fi tting protective clothing and eye
protection!
♦ Use a machine guard, if available!
Safety instructions as per DIN EN 1083-2
♦ Brushes must not be fi tted onto machines whose
rotation speed lies above the maximum permitted
brush speed.
♦ Damaged brushes may not be used.
♦ Rust discoloration or other signs of chemical or
mechanical change to the mounting material can
cause premature failure of the brush.
♦ Brushes must be stored in suitable racks, bins or
boxes such that they are protected against the
following eff ects:
1) high humidity, heat, water or other liquids that
could cause damage to the brushes;
2) Acids or vapours of acids, which could cause
damage;
3) Temperatures that are so low that they could
lead to condensation when the brushes are
relocated to an area with higher temperatures;
4) Deformation of any brush component.
Recommendations for use
Only the wire tips do the work (see Fig. 1).
Prerequisite is the exertion of light pressure while
brushing (see Fig. 1).
Increased pressure does not improve the result,
instead, it reduces the service life of the brush and
requires higher input power (see Fig. 2).

Incorrect operation
For stationary inserted brushes, always work below
the middle of the brush (see Fig. 1).
Should higher rotation speeds and greater pressure be
required, then more aggressive brushes must be used.
This is achieved by:
− larger wire gauge;
− reduced braid length;
− or through another brush braid
(plaited instead of corrugated).
Optimization of the brush
attachment
The desired brush eff ect must be apparent within
a few seconds.
Brush eff ect is insuffi cient:
− increase rotation speed
(pay heed to max. rotation speed!);
− use a larger brush diameter;
− select a shorter braid length;
− select a stronger wire braid, or another
type of brush.
Brush eff ect is too forceful:
− reduce the rotation speed;
− reduce the pressure;
− select a longer wire braid;
− select a thinner wire braid, or another
type of brush.
