• Speak in a normal tone of voice. The microphone amplifies your voice above ambient room noise.
• Turn the microphone
off when having private conversations.
• Charge the microphone’s batteries every night for at least 6 hours. A fully charged battery will last
the entire school day. N Turn the microphone off before charging.
• If you are experiencing intermittent audio problems,
Check the batteries and replace them if necessary. NiMH and alkaline batteries are
supported. N Alkaline batteries are not charged.
Do not use more than one microphone on the same channel.
Avoid any obstructions between you and the receiver.
When the microphone is charging:
Green............................Fully charged
Red...............................Charging
Flashing, alternating
red and green...............Alkaline batteries detected

Tips for Using the Microphone

Microphone

Remove the microphone from the charging
station, or disconnect it from the wall charger.

Place the microphone around your neck so
that it hangs approximately 4
” below your chin.

Turn the microphone on by sliding the power
switch on the side up to the ON position.

Speak in a normal tone of voice. Adjust the
volume level if necessary by pressing the
Volume Up and Down buttons on the side.

At the end of the day, turn the microphone off
by sliding the power switch down to the
OFF/MUTE/CHG position.
6
Return the microphone to the charging station,
or connect it to the wall charger.
