This manual contains important updates. Please discard the manual that is
included in the box with your Wasp and use this manual.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS DISCONNECT CHARGER CORD AFTER CHARGING. NEVER LEAVE CHARGER
CONNECTED TO HELICOPTER OVERNIGHT OR FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME.
REMOTE CONTROL:
When flying your Wasp with other helicopters, be sure each device operates on different frequencies to avoid
interruptions in flight or performance.
HELICOPTER WARNING:
The helicopter blades revolve at high speeds and can cause damage to the user or spectators.
Stand away from the helicopter to reduce the risk of getting into the flight path. Warn spectators
that you will be flying your helicopter so that they are aware of its position. Before flight, inspect the
rotor blades to make certain that the blades are securely fastened to the helicopter. When the
battery charge runs low, the helicopter may have difficulty taking off or reaching a normal height.
WARNING!
• Choking/Cutting Hazard. Small Parts/Sharp Rotor Blades.
• Keep hands, hair and loose clothing away from the propeller when the power switch is turned to
the ON position.
• Turn off the transmitter and helicopter power switches when not in use.
• The remote charger is built specifically for the helicopters Li-Poly battery. Do not use it to charge
any other battery.
• Use a new alkaline battery for maximum performance of the controller.
• Parental supervision recommended for flight.
• Do not fly your helicopter if the rotor is damaged or broken, as this may cause serious injury.
• Do not make the helicopter crash into anything in the air of on the ground. doing so may severely
damage the helicpter or reduce it’s life.
• If your helicopter becomes damaged, please have it repaired or replaced immediately.
BATTERY WARNINGS
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY:
This helicopter uses an internal Li-Poly rechargeable battery and is not replaceable. If battery no
longer stays charged, dispose of battery properly according to local disposal requirements.
CONTROLLER BATTERIES:
One 9 Volt battery (included). Please read the important battery safety warning below.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the item before being charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if removable).
• Exhausted batteries should be removed immediately and must be recycled or disposed of properly
according to state or local government ordinances and regulations.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity (see inside booklet for diagram).
• Do not dispose batteries in a fire - batteries may leak or explode.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the battery from the remote control when it is not being used
for an extended period of time.
• To clean, gently wipe the controller and helicopter with a clean,
damp cloth.
• Keep the toy away from direct heat or sunlight.
• Do not submerge the toy into water. This can damage the unit
beyond repair.
• Parental guidance recommended when installing or replacing
the battery.
FEATURES
• Wide range remote control 27 Mhz helicopter specifically designed for indoor & outdoor flight.
• Built-in Li-Poly rechargeable battery that connects to AC adapter for quick and easy charging
(helicopter only). A full charge will provide enough power for an 8 to 10-minute flight.
• Adjustable trim rear rotor provides stable lifting and flight.
• Charging indicator light (green) turns OFF when the helicopter is fully charged.
CONTROLLER BATTERY AND ANTENNA INSTALLATION
1. Slide the battery cover off of the remote.
2. Install 1 “9V” alkaline batteries as shown in the diagram
(included).
3. Replace the battery cover.
4. Insert the antenna into the antenna jack, press slightly
until the antenna is securely connected.
CHARGING THE HELICOPTER
1. Turn the power switch to the Off position
2. Insert the charger plug of the AC adapter (included)
into the charger socket and plug the adapter in a
wall socket.
3. The LED light will be off while charging. When
charging is complete, the LED will turn on.
4. Do not charge for more than 45 minutes. Do not
over-charge.
5. Keep battery temperature under 45ºC/113º F while
charging to prevent damage.

FLIGHT AND CONTROLS
Below is a list of basic flight functions on your wireless remote and how they will effect your helicopter. While
learning to fly your helicopter, it is best to start with a large open area until you get used to the basic controls.
As you master flying the helicopter you can move to more advanced maneuvering.

HELICOPTER FLIGHT ADJUSTMENTS
If your helicopter uncontrollably rotates you may need to adjust the trim controls (see below).
TROUBLESHOOTING
Move the throttle control up to increase the speed of the main rotor and the helicopter will rise up.
Move the throttle control down to decrease the speed of the main rotor and the helicopter will descend.
Move the direction control left and right to change the helicopters direction from left to right. Note that the
controls are reversed, to go left, press right on the thumbstick. To go right, press left.

FLIGHT TIPS
• Fly only in warm weather with no wind
• Do not fly your helicopter in bad weather or extreme temperatures
• Do not fly in strong winds or extreme weather such as thunder, lightning, rain snow or ice storm.
• It is recommended that you operate the helicopter in a wide outdoor space. Allow at least a 10-foot
radius range.
• The helicopter is designed for indoor or outdoor use. Never pilot the helicopter near buildings, power
lines, people, animals, vehicles, homes, trees or other large objects nearby.
• Make sure you are not wearing any loose or long hanging clothing.
• Parental guidance or adult supervision is suggested at all times.
• If you are flying helicopter with others, make sure all spectators are behind you.
* Wireless range up to 160 feet. Environmental conditions may cause variations.
FLIGHT PREPARATION
1. Pull out the controller’s antenna
2. Turn on the controllers power switch, the red LED light indicates power is on.
3. Turn on the Wasp’s power switch and place on the ground in an open area you intend to fly.
4. Make sure you and the controller are at least 10 feet away from the helicopter before operating.
5. Visually confirm the fly area is free from all obstacles, people and animals and it is safe to fly without injury.

CAUSES
• Power switch may be turned off.
• Batteries may be placed incorrectly.
• Batteries may be low
• Remote or helicopter may be turned off.
• Antenna not extended.
• It may be too windy.
• Main Rotor Blades are moving too slow.
• Helicopter battery may not be fully
charged.
• You may be pulling the throttle stick
back too quickly.
CORRECTIONS
• Turn power switch on.
• Check battery placement.
• Replace batteries.
• Turn Remote and/or helicopter on.
• Extend antenna.
• Do not fly in windy conditions.
• Push the throttle stick forward.
• Recharge helicopter battery.
Slowly pull back on the throttle stick to
acheive a smooth landing.
