6 Connecting video signals to the BVS-1602
The BVS-1602 router offers standard 75 ohms BNC connectors for video in- and outputs. All video
inputs are terminated with 75 ohms. DIP switches allow to switch off the termination for each input. One
DIP switch block is used for 4 inputs. The backplane is marked with "75" for the position with
termination and "High-Z" for the position without termination. For each input you will find 2 switches:

Input 4 Switch 7,8
7 Input extension
BVS-1602 allows input extension up to 128x2. Please connect the routers like shown below. The end of a
loop chain must be terminated. This can be done either with a termination plug (75 Ohms) or the
termination on the loop section. Please refer to chapter 6 regarding termination switch.
