5.2 Router extension mode
Switch 5, 6 and 7 on the configuration switch set the router’s input offset in systems with 2 or more
BDS-1602. You can build systems up to 64x2. The chosen input offset defines on which input range each
BDS-1602 works on.

The offset can be switched according to the following pattern:

Switch 5 is always in position down.

Default is offset 0.

5.3 VIT

mode

The BDS-1602 may be configured to switch in different vertical intervals, depending on the video format
that is applicable. This may be either PAL or NTSC.
NTSC (525/60) and PAL (625/50) have different Vertical Intervals. Switching in line 6 in PAL means
switching in line 8 in NTSC. The PAL line 6 switching is not recommended for NTSC, but the NTSC line
10 setting may be used also for PAL.
Note that switching will only take place in an ODD field number, independent of the chosen video mode.

Switch 8 on the configuration switch selects the VIT mode.

The VIT Mode can be switched according to the following pattern:
