• Your shelter is now freestanding. Move it to the desired
location and secure. Since soil conditions vary greatly, we
have included two methods to secure the shelter:
1. On sand. Fill the four bags with sand and tie them to
the four corner webs. Pull the bags out and away from the
shelter until the floor is taut. Bury the bags in the sand.
2. On turf. Drive a stake through the grommet on a
corner web. Work your way around the shelter, squaring
and staking the base as you go.
See fig.5.
• Slide the long pole through the
sleeve, across the top of the
tent. Push the pole, don’t pull
it. Continue until you reach
the grommet on other side
of the tent. Insert the post
at the end of the pole into
this grommet. See fig.2.
• Move back to where you started at the opposite side of
the shelter. With the pole in one hand and web/grommet in
the other, feed the pole up. Take care that the ferrules do
not get caught on the sleeves. Push the pole evenly along
its length to create an arc. Place the post end of the pole
into the grommet to maintain tension across the top of the
shelter. See fig.3.
• Lift the top of the shelter. Push one of the short poles
through a sleeve and down to a web/grommet at the base.
At the top of the shelter, insert the post into the grommet.
Repeat with the second pole into the last sleeve.
• Move to the base of the shelter. With a pole in one hand
and web/grommet in the other, push the pole evenly along
its length to create an arc. Place the post end into the
grommet to maintain tension across the fabric. Repeat with
the second pole. See fig.4.
Your Shelter is ready!

ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
SOLAR SHADE:
• Assemble the shockcorded poles. Try to prevent pole
sections from snapping together, as this can damage the
pole ends. Make certain each insert has seated firmly into
each plain end.
See fig. 1.
• Take down: Open door, untie
sand bags or pull up stakes. Pull
posts out of the grommets and
push poles out of the sleeves.
Collapse the poles and stow. Fold the
shelter onto itself in thirds. Roll up towards
the door and stow.
• Where soil conditions permit and
when winds prevail, we recommend
that you attach the guy out cords
to the four loops on the sleeves
and stake them out. Use the
sliders on the cords to adjust
tension. See fig.6.
