descriPtion
The Extron SI 3 compact surface mount speaker features a 3" (7.6 cm) full-range driver coupled
to an exclusive conical baffle that enhances coverage throughout the listening area. The driver
features an incredibly wide frequency response of 75 Hz to 18 kHz, and 16 watts continuous
pink noise and 32 watts continuous program capacity. An internal overload protection circuit
prevents driver damage due to excessive input levels.
This System I ntegrator ® Series speaker is ideally suited for small to medium classrooms
and conference rooms where surface mount speakers are desired, but wall space for speaker
placement is limited. With a weather-resistant construction, the SI 3 is also at home in many
outdoor environments.
The exclusive conical baffle provides a broad dispersion of the mid and high frequencies in
order to optimize room coverage from a compact speaker. Voice intelligibility is critical for
classrooms and many other applications, and the SI 3 provides excellent voice clarity without
compromising music reproduction.

Included with the SI 3 is Extron's exclusive Patent Pending V-Lock ® mounting hardware, which
facilitates easy, secure installations, and allows for wide 60° horizontal and 55° vertical travel.
The SI 3 is sold in pairs and is available in a black or white finish, and includes a 5 year parts
and labor warranty.
extron conicAl bAffle
A compact surface mount speaker is a logical choice when wall space is at a premium. To
address the issue of beaming in the midrange and high frequencies that can be found in a small,
compact speaker, the SI 3 has been designed with a 3" full-range driver that is acoustically
coupled to an Extron exclusive conical baffle. This baffle serves as a waveguide to help create a
wide dispersion profile. With this very broad conical spreading of the mid and high frequencies,
two SI 3 speakers in a small to medium classroom should ensure consistent volume levels for
everyone while delivering increased intelligibility and accurate music reproduction.
