FUEL AND LUBRICATING OIL
The temperatures noted in the table on
page 11 are the ambient temperatures at
the time the engine is started. However,
if the running ambient temperatures are
much higher than the starting tempera-
tures, a compromise must be made and a
higher viscosity oil used (provided starting
is satisfactory). Multigrade oils overcome
the problem, provided they have a suit-
able specification.
