Introduction
SETUP
ELECTRIC/HYDRAULIC LIFT SYSTEM 12-500
If you purchased a 12-500 Electric/hydraulic Lift System, it will come installed. Battery not
included.
1. If tongue is folded up, remove bracket, unfold tongue and hook up
adjustment link. See Storage section for more information.
2. Install an Automotive type 24F-12 Volt battery into the Motor Box and
secure with the battery hold-down.
3. Fill the power unit with approximately 1.50 Gal (5.68 liter) MileMaster
303 Tractor HYD Fluid or equivilent.

1. If tongue is folded up, remove bracket, unfold tongue and hook up adjustment link. See Storage section
for more information.
2. Route the hoses through the trough in front of the ballast tank, secure in the hose clamps on the top of
the tongue.
HILLSIDE OPERATION
Do NOT stop or start suddenly on any slope. Be especially cautious when changing direction. Do NOT operate
on slopes greater than 20°.
IMPORTANT - Roller frame MUST be level in rolling position for proper operation.
- Extend and retract outboard rollers ONLY in raised position.
To Level Frame
1.
Connect coupling to tow vehicle hitch and park on level surface.
2.
Extend outboard rollers fully.
3.
Lower unit completely to ground.
4.
Check slope meter reading. Ball should be centered.
5.
If ball is not centered in slope meter, release the lock on the adjustable link. Rotate link until ball is
centered on slope gage.
6.
Re-lock adjustable link bar.
To Transport
1.
Lift roller to highest point.
2.
Retract outboard rollers.
3.
Tow at a safe speed.
To Roll Fairways
1.
Extend outboard rollers.
2.
Lower unit fully to ground
3.
Tow and roll at a safe speed.
