Introduction

Designed to manage HDTV video installations, the
HDR4X2 can switch four inputs to two outputs. Two
outputs give you the choices of routing HD audio and
video signals to two displays. The HDR4X2 eliminates
the need to disconnect and reconnect HDMI sources to
a single display. Compatible with HD-DVD, computer
sources, BlueRay players, gaming consoles, and HDTV set-
top boxes. Controlling the switch is simple, via the front
tactile buttons or an optional Infrared remote control.

Product - Installation Diagram

Installation

1. Turn off all input devices and displays.

2. Connect the HDMI extension cables to the input devices and to the “IN” ports on the HDR4X2.

3. Connect the displays to the “OUT” ports on the HDR4X2.

4. Connect the power cord to power-on the HDR4X2.

5. Power on the input devices and the displays.

6. Use the front panel buttons to select the desired input port for each display.

Switching Between Ports

Front Panel Control

To switch ports using the front panel, press the Select buttons for

each display to cycle through the available ports. The selected port

number will be indicated by the LED display.

IR Control (optional)

You may switch ports using an infrared remote control (optional

accessory). The selected port number will be indicated by the LED

display.
