Power On Checks
Power up the aircraft’s systems and confirm normal operation of all functions of the LD12-002.
a) Select
the
TEST position on the mode switch and check that all LEDs are functioning.
b) Select
the
NORM position on the mode switch; LEDs that are activated should be fully
illuminated.
c) Select
the
DIM position on the mode switch and adjust the dimmer pot; the active LEDs should
track the dimmer pot.
d)
Make sure unit is securely fastened and that the connector locks are correctly mated before any
flight is attempted.
Upon satisfactory completion of all performance checks, make all required log book entries, electrical
load, weight and balance amendments and other documentation as required by your local regulatory
agency before releasing the aircraft for service.

Adjustments and Connections
Access for internal
dimmer adjustment
The dimming voltage (and therefore the dimming level) of the LD12-002 may be adjusted by rotating an
internal trimpot, which can be accessed through an opening in the cover. To select minimum voltage
output, the trimpot is rotated fully counterclockwise (ccw), and for maximum voltage output the trimpot is
rotated fully clockwise (cw).
See section 2.4.4 for lighting mode switch information.
2.6
Accessories Required But Not Supplied
Installation kit p/n D50SV-IKC (crimp) is required to complete the installation. The kit consists of the
