• In standby mode, the player turns off automatically in:
7 minutes after the backlight turns off, or
4 minutes if Backlight timer under (Settings) is set to Always on.

(Optional) Stand your player on a flat surface
1. Slide the Stand out of its slot.
2. Reverse it, then tilt it and direct the flat end into the slot.
3. Stand your player on a flat surface.
