ATTENTION!
If the unit is damaged, please do not return it to us, but notify your dealer and the
shipping company immediately, otherwise claims for damage or replacement may
not be granted. The consignee must make shipping claims.
2.2 Rack mounting
The device fits into one new standard “half rack” unit of space (1 3/4"). Please allow at
least an additional 4" depth for the connectors on the back panel. Be sure that there is
enough air space around the unit for cooling and please do not place the unit on high
temperature devices such as power amplifiers to avoid overheating. It is also possible to
fit the device into one standard rack unit of space (1 3/4") using the RK100 rack adapter
that you can supplied.
2.3 Mains voltage
Before you connect your unit to the mains AC socket, please make sure that your local
voltage matches the voltage required by the external power supply of your unit! In case
that the label of your Unit transformer require a voltage different from the one that you
have in your Country do not connect it to mains and contact your Dealer.
2.4 Audio connections
The inputs on the OCTOPLUS are fully balanced. If possible, connect the unit to other
devices in a balanced configuration to allow for maximum interference immunity. All the
outputs have to be connected with balanced or, if not possible with unbalanced, wiring.
Please ensure that only qualified persons install and operate the OCTOPLUS.
During installation and operation the user must have sufficient electrical contact
to earth. Electro-static charges might affect the operation of the OCTOPLUS!
