Installation Instructions/Instrucciones de Instalación
1. Determine the desired location and if needed
install framing to mount the fixture to.
2. Mount the fixture using the included hardware.
Use the guide on the plaster guard to install at the
proper depth.
SEE DRAWING: Finished wall must be 7/8”- 1 7/16”
from the front of the valve for the trim to fit.

3. Install 1/2” NPT threaded copper adapters to the Hot & Cold inlets. Use teflon tape on all
threaded conections. Then solder copper piping to the adapters and run to the water supply.
IMPORTANT: IF SOLDERING DIRECTLY TO VALVE
A) Remove ALL components from the valve so only brass is being heated.
B) Wrap valve body in a cold rag and take care not to overheat the valve.
C) Use copper piping only.
D) Reinstall ALL components back onto the valve.
4. Remove the plaster guards and make sure the cartridge is in the off position.
5. Turn the supply water on and check for leaks. Then place a bucket below the spout
opening and open the cartridge to allow water to flow. Flush hot and cold water through
the valve. Close the cartridge and reinstall the plaster guards.
6. Finish the wall around the guards using them as a guide.
7. Install trim onto rough-valve.
8. Thread the brass spout fitting (A) into
the rough-valve.
9. Slide the backplate (B) around the
rough-valve and up against the wall
(silicone can be used to secure to wall)
10. Slide the spout (C) onto the spout
fitting (A) up against backplate and
tighten set screws to secure.
11. Slide the handle (D) onto the end of
the cartridge and tighten set screw to
secure.
