6. Remove the caps and plaster guard and turn valve counterclockwise to open position. Make sure to have
containers set up to collect water. Flush system once more (make sure to flush diverted outlet).
7. Reinstall plaster guard and caps.
8. Finish wall around plaster guards. Make sure the surface of the finished wall will be the proper distance from the
valve.
9. Once surrounding wall is finished, remove the plaster guards from the valve and unscrew the diverter knob from
the diverter cartridge.
10. Apply a bead of silicone sealant onto the back edge of the backplate and slide into place over the cartridge
body. Using a clean rag, wipe off any excess silicone.
11. Loosen the set screw on the control handle and place on the cartridge stem. Then tighten the set screw using the
provided wrench and place the cap cover over the screw hole.
12. Tighten the diverter knob back onto the diverter cartridge.
