Welcome to the Koss Cobalt™ Wireless Stereophone. Your new stereophone includes the
following features:
· Frequency Response: 20 - 22,000 Hz
· Wireless communication
· Approximately 33 foot range
· Transmits through walls and ceilings
· Compatible with select mobile phones
· Rechargable internal Lithium-ion battery
· Up to 8 hours of battery life

USING THE KOSS COBALT™ FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Charging the unit:
It is recommended that you fully charge your stereophone before use. To charge your
stereophone, follow these instructions:
1. Plug the small end of the USB charging cable into the charging jack on the stereophone, and
the other end into your computer, OR plug the AC adapter into the charging jack on the
stereophone, and the other end into a wall outlet.
2. The charging LED will illuminate RED while charging .
3. When a charge is complete, the RED charging LED will turn off.
Connecting the Audio Transmitter to your audio player:
Simply insert the 3.5mm plug on the Audio Transmitter into the 3.5mm jack on your audio
player. If the plug does not completely insert in the jack, use the included audio extension cable
to connect the Transmitter.
Connecting the USB Audio Dongle to your
Windows® PC*:
When you first connect the USB Audio Dongle to your PC, it will be automatically recognized
by Windows®.
1. Insert the USB Audio Dongle into a free USB port on your PC.
2. The “Found New Hardware” message will be displayed on your screen. After the installation
process is complete, the message “Your new hardware is installed and ready to use” will appear.
3. To check that your PC’s audio is being routed to the USB Audio Dongle, double-click the
