FUNCTION MODE
9) MIDI LOCAL CONTROL ON/OFF
This function is used to control whether or not the sound from the CL36 digital piano will be heard when playing
the keyboard. When MIDI LOCAL CONTROL is set to ‘on’, sound will be heard when playing the CL36 digital
piano’s keyboard. When MIDI LOCAL CONTROL is set to ‘off’, sound will not be heard when playing the CL36
digital piano’s keyboard, however the keyboard data will still be transmitted to an external MIDI device.
When MIDI information is received, the sound will be played through the CL36 digital piano.
Step 1
Press and hold the METRONOME and SOUND SELECT buttons simultaneously, then press the key
assigned to the LOCAL function.
Step 2
While still holding down the METRONOME and SOUND SELECT buttons, press the key ‘- (off)’ to set MIDI
LOCAL CONTROL to ‘off’, or the ‘+ (on)’ key to set MIDI LOCAL CONTROL to ‘on’.
The MIDI Local Control setting is automatically set to ‘on’ when the CL36 digital piano is turned on.
