Multi-Channel (Home

Theater) Installation

Speaker Placement and Mounting

Your S2.c speakers surface mount at a 45 degree angle between the ceiling and the wall
or between two walls of your listening room. If possible, prior to installation, connect the
speakers and experiment with their placement within the listening room.

1. The S2.c is shipped preassembled with two mounting bars attached to the speaker. In
order to install the S2.c into a corner, you will first need to install the two 5/16-18 x 5/8”
hex head bolts (from the included parts packet) into the mounting bars on the back of the
speaker. The screws should only be screwed in two turns for the first part of this operation.

2. Square up the corner bracket between the ceiling and wall or two walls so that the slotted
sides of the bracket lay flat against the ceiling and wall or both walls. If you are mounting
between two walls, make sure that the bolt slots are pointed upward.

3. Use the six #8 x 2” square drive round washer head screws (from the included parts
packet) to screw into the angled holes on the back of the bracket. The holes are angled so
that the screws will hit the corner studs, providing more stability. Therefore, it is important
to screw straight into the holes in the direction they are pointing.

4. If you are running wire into the wall, use one of the oval slots in the side of the bracket
to run wire through.

5. Slide the S2.c, with hex head bolts sticking out from the back, into the bolt slots, making
sure both bolts are in their slot.

6. Tighten the bolts.

7. Attach the cloth grille by carefully pressing the grille mounts into the grille mounting
flanges.

S2.c Speaker Connection

Connect the proper output on your home theater processor or receiver to the binding posts
on the S2.c using normal polarity (red to red and black to black).
