Set the throttle

Place controls in neutral position

Set the choke control
Move the steering controls outward to the locked
(outer) neutral position.
Move the throttle to the middle position.
If the engine is cold, pull the choke control knob up.
NOTE: On models without a separate choke control,
push throttle control all the way forward to the choke
position.
