Upon Receipt
1. Verify that all parts and items on your order have been received. Alert your distributor if any parts or
items are damaged or missing.
2. Inspect the power supply for any physical damage that may have occurred during shipping. If there is
evidence of damage, refer to the Claims section below.
All communications regarding this equipment must include the model number and serial number
located on the back of the power supply.
3. Before setting up and operating the system, read the Safety section of this manual.
Claims
Claims for damage during shipment – If your unit was damaged during shipment, you must file a claim
with the carrier. Hypertherm will furnish you with a copy of the bill of lading upon request. If you need
additional assistance, call Customer Service listed in the front of this manual or your authorized
Hypertherm distributor.
Claims for defective or missing merchandise – If any of the merchandise is defective or missing, call
your authorized Hypertherm distributor. If you need additional assistance, call Customer Service listed in
the front of this manual or your authorized Hypertherm distributor.
Location of Power Supply
Locate the power supply near a wall receptacle. Allow at least 10 inches (0.25 m) of space at the front
and back of the power supply for proper ventilation.
Note:
Special installation may be required where gasoline or volatile liquids are
present. Consult local or national codes.
