Upgrading from PC/TopKAT Version 2 or 3 to Version 4

For Windows XP ®
1 Log onto your PC as the Administrator.
2 Click the Start button.
3 Click Control Panel.
4 Click Performance and Maintenance.
5 Click Administrative Tools.
(Settings | Control Panel | Administrative Tools for Windows Classic View).
6 Double click on the Services icon.
7 Select Interbase Server from the list.
8 Click the Stop button.
You may see an error message. This message can be ignored.
Uninstall PC/TopKAT Version 2 or 3
Uninstall PC/TopKAT Version 2 or 3 using Add/Remove Programs.
For Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, and NT
1 Click the Start button.
2 Click Settings.
3 Click Control Panel.
4 Double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon in Control Panel.
5 Select PC/TopKAT from the list of available programs to remove.
6 Click the Add/Remove button.
7 Follow the on-screen instructions.
For Windows XP
1 Click the Start button.
2 Click Control Panel.

3 Double click on the Add or Remove Programs icon in Control Panel.
