2.5.2 DRAM Timing control
Selects whether DRAM timing is controlled by the SPD (Serial Presence
Detect) EEPROM on the DRAM module. Setting to “Auto” enables DRAM tim-
ings to be determined by BIOS based on the configurations on the SPD.
Selecting “Manual” allows users to configure the DRAM timings manually.
Note: The following options can be activated and configured only when this
option is set as “Manual”.
2.5.3 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD)
This is the amount of time a CAS of performed after a RAS. The lower the
better, but some DRAM does not support low features.
2.5.4 Precharge Time (tRP)
It is used to set the precharge time of RAS.
2.5.5.RAS Active Time (tRAS)
This option allows you to set the amount of time a RAS can be ketp open for
multiple accesses. High figures will improve performance.
2.5.6 Write Recovery Time (tWR)
It is used to set the write recovery time.
2.5.7 DDR2 Additive Latency (tAL)
It is used to set the DDR2 Additive Latency time.
2.6 CPU Clock Ratio Unlock
This option is used to unlock CPU clock ratio.
2.7 CPU Clock Ratio
This option is used to set the ratio of an unlocked CPU. Using different CPU,
the setting values are different.
2.8 PCIE Clock
This option is used to set the PCI Express clock.
2.9 DRAM Voltage Select
This option is used to set DRAM voltage.
2.10 Auto Detect PCI Clk
This option is used to set whether the clock of an unused PCI slot will be
disabled to reduce electromagnetic interference.
2.11 Spread Spectrum
If you enable spread spectrum, it can significantly reduce the EMI (Electro-
Magnetic Interference) generated by the system.
