► Administrator Password
This item is used to install or change administrator password.
After you input administrator password, it then will ask you to
confirm the password.
► User Password
This item is used to install or change user password.
► HDD BootSector Write
To protect your HDD from virus attack, there is a HDD Bootsector write-protection mechanism
provided. Super HDD BootSector Protect function protects your BIOS from being affected by
viruses, e.g.

Password Description
If ONLY the Administrator’s password is set,
then this only limits access to Setup and is
only asked for when entering Setup.
If ONLY the User’s password is set, then this
is a power on password and must be entered to
boot or enter Setup. In Setup the User will
have Administrator rights.
The password must be 3 to 20 characters long.
