The LOW BAT message will appear on the display approximately 6 hours prior to
the Survey Meter becoming inoperable. To ensure that the Survey Meter
operates to specification, change the batteries within 4 hours after the LOW BAT
message appears. The Survey Meter will function on one battery for
approximately 100 hours, allowing replacement of one battery at a time if the
Survey Meter must remain operational during battery changeover. Use regular or
alkaline batteries for replacement purposes.
Both 9 volt batteries are located in the rear of the Survey Meter and are easily
accessible and replaceable with the battery cover removed.
