TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

Cleaner won’t run 1. Power cord not firmly plugged into outlet. 1. Plug cord in firmly.
2. Blown fuse or tripped breaker . 2. Check fuse or breaker in home. Replace fuse/reset
breaker.

Cleaner won’t pick-up 1. Dirt container not installed correctly. 1. R eview dirt container removal and replacement - Pg. 6.
or low suction 2. Dirt container full. 2. Empty dirt container - Pg. 6.
3. Brushroll worn. 3. T ake to service center or call 1-800-321-1 134.
4. Broken belt. 4. T ake to service center or call 1-800-321-1 134.
5. Clogged PERMA FILTER ® . 5. Remove PERMA FILTER ® and clean - Pg. 6.
6. Dirty HEPA filter. 6. Replace HEPA fil ter - Pg. 7.
7. Clear nozzle dirt passage hose clogged. 7. Remove dirt cup; inspect hose; remove obstruction.

Cleaner is difficult to push 1. Carpet height setting is incorrect. 1. Set carpet height adjustment to appropriate

2. Brushroll on/off switch is turned “off”. 2. Turn brushroll on/off switch to the “on” position.
Brushroll not rotating 1. Brushroll on/off sw itch is turned off. 1. Turn brushroll on/ off switch to the on position.
2. Broken belt. 2. T ake to Service Center or call 1-800-321-1 134.
3. Brushroll jammed with an obstruction. 3. Turn the brushroll on/off switch to the “off” posi-
tion. Turn the unit off and unplug. Remove the
obstruction. Plug unit back into outlet and turn the
power and brushroll switches to the “on” position.
*Sensor light not illuminating 1. Needs service. 1. Take to service center or call 1-800-321-1 134.
*Sensor light will not turn 1. Height adjust setting is too low. 1. Set height adjust to proper setting - Pg. 5.
on/off 2. Cleaner needs service. 2. Call customer service at 1-800-321-1 134.
