Warning: Electrical hazard


The mat must be installed according to the instructions provided by Fenix Slovakia. Adhere to these
important instructions in order to prevent electrical fires or injuries.

The mat can be used by children of 8 years and over, as well as by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or insufficient experience or knowledge, providing they are under
supervision or have at least been instructed in the safe use of the appliance, and have understood the
dangers involved with such use. Children must not play with the appliance. Children must not clean
or maintain the appliance without supervision.

Warning
: How to ensure permanent protection against electrical injuries:

a) the electrical socket for outdoor use must be installed by a qualified electrician in a location

protected against rain and snow in close proximity to the proposed location of the heated
rubber mat.

b) place and lay the supply lead from the heated rubber mat in such a way that it is protected

against damage.

c) do not use extension leads.
d) check the supply lead before connecting it to the 230 V electrical socket.
e) if you are not using the heated rubber mat, disconnect the supply lead from the 230 V socket.
f) when not using the heated rubber mat, store it out of the reach of children.


the supply lead must not be replaced. If the lead is damaged, the appliance should be

discarded.

do not connect the heated rubber mat to a power supply while it is rolled up.

do not use the heated rubber mat at ambient temperatures higher than + 18°C.

do not cut through or into the heated rubber mat, or make any other alterations to it of

any kind.

do not walk on the heated rubber mat until it has been completely installed.

do not connect the heated rubber mat to a damaged electrical socket.

do not install the heated rubber mat on rough dirt or a gravelly surface.

check the heated rubber mat regularly to ensure it has not suffered excessive wear and

tear or been damaged. If the heated rubber mat is found to be damaged, it must be
disconnected and destroyed.

do not use in areas with pets or domesticated animals.
