3.1 Mechanical Installation
While the scoreboards in this manual are portable, they may also be permanently mounted to
a wall using the brackets provided by Daktronics. Drawing A-164217 includes details for
wall mounting.
The scoreboards in this manual are equipped with a handle on the top for easy transport.
Note: The handles are designed for carrying only and are not to be used as a temporary
hanger or for permanent mounting.
3.2 Power & Signal
Route all power and signal connection cables to and from the back of the display through the
channel on the back of the display, as illustrated in Drawing A-164217.
Power for the display is provided via a standard 120 V AC circuit. Signal is provided via 2-
pair, shielded cable, 22 AWG.
The display will not power on unless connected to an All Sport controller. Drawing A-164222
depicts the signal connection jacks located on the rear of the display.
The display is equipped with a ¼" phono jack to connect to the All Sport 5000 (BB-114) and
All Sport 5500 (BB-314) control consoles (Figure 4).
1. Plug the phono cable into the J31 jack on the rear of the display.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the J1, J2, or J3 jack of the console.
