ECS-H Battery Handle Charger
The ECS-H charger is designed to firmly and reliably hold
and charge wireless Code bar code readers equipped
with a battery handle.

Charging Instructions:
Firmly seat the battery handle in the charger. When the
charging clips are engaged, the LED will turn on.
• Green LED indicates battery handle is fully charged.
• Red LED indicates battery handle is charging.
Battery handles ship with approximately 50% battery life and
should be completely charged before initial use. Approximate time
to charge a depleted battery is 4 hours. Note: In certain reader
configurations, the LED on the charger may never turn green.

1. Plug the power supply into the charger and wrap the cable around
the post, as indicated in the diagram on the charger. Slide the cable
through the channel cut out. (Figures 1 and 2)
2. If a weighted base plate was ordered, place the ECS-H onto the
weighted base and secure with the screws provided (Figure 3). Plug
in power supply into the wall socket (or USB port if USB Charge
Cable ordered).
3. If a weighted base was not ordered, mount the charger to a surface
for added stability. Note: Because surface types differ, mounting
screws have not been included. Plug in power supply into the wall
socket.
