The Model DV -2 converts Analog Video into Serial Digital
Video. Features
include jumper
selectable for
Composite or S-
Video input, 7.5 IRE
on/off, and Comb
Filter on/off. The
DV-2 will accept
PAL, SECAM, and
NTSC. The SDI
outputs are 4:2:2 270 Mbit SMPTE 259M 270Mhz., 8-bit
encoding.
DIP Switch Settings:
#1 Down = Composite
#1 Up = S-Video
#2 = Not Used
#3 Down = 7.5 IRE Setup On
#3 Up = 7.5 IRE Setup Off
#4 Down = Comb Filter Off
#4 Up = Comb Filter On
Notes Regarding Switches:
DV-2 Switch #3 should be set Off if the analog video coming in
already has 7.5 IRE setup. If this switch is turned on, then the
DV-2 will add another 7.5 IRE to your setup.
