2.5.1 Structure of the display
Structure of the display
The display of the CX2100­00xx is an LCD. It has 2 x 16 characters. Each character has a resolution of 5 x 8
pixels. The character set has the designation SPLC780C­11 and is permanently set. The following illustration
shows the character set with all available characters displayed inversely.
Controllable backlight is integrated in the display to facilitate reading. Furthermore, the display can be made
to flash by switching the lighting on and off. This way the user’s attention can be drawn in certain situations.
Control takes place via the PLC interface, ADS communication or the System Manager. Details are
described in the section on PLC connection,
