Battery Installation
3. Charging rate: Charge battery @ 0.7 Amps for
5 ~ 10 hours.
• After charging is complete, press down firmly
with both hands to seat the caps. (Do not pound
or hammer.) The battery is now sealed. (see
figure 25)
• Locate battery compartment on ATV. The battery
compartment is located under front nose piece.
(see figure 26)
• Remove bolts from battery compartment cover,
slide cover up and install battery
• Attach red positive (+) cable to positive (+)
terminal on battery. Then attach black negative
(-) cable to negative (-) terminal on battery.
• Reinstall battery compartment cover and tighten
bolts. (see figure 28)
NOTE: Make sure metal receiving clips are
aligned on each side of battery compartment
before battery compartment cover is installed.
(see figure 29)
WARNING
NEVER REMOVE THE STRIP OF
CAPS NOR ADD ANY WATER OR
ELECTROLYTE.
