appliance has been damaged in any
manner. If the supply cord or
appliance is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or by its
service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
§ The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the appliance

§ Do not let the cord hang over the edge
of a table or counter or let it come into
contact with any hot surfaces.
§ To disconnect - remove the plug from
the outlet. Do not pull plug out by the
cord.

other than its intended use. This
appliance is for household use only.
§ No liability can be accepted for any
damage caused by non-compliance
with these instructions or any other
improper use or mishandling.
§ Use the toaster without bread for the
first time. There will be some smoke at
first, this is normal.
§ The toaster reaches very high
temperatures, particularly in the area
of the openings for the bread.
§ Bread may burn. Therefore this
toaster must not be used near or
below curtains and other combustible
materials.
§ Do not place the cable or any other
object over the bread openings whilst
the toaster is in operation.
§ Do not attempt to dislodge food while
the toaster is in operation.
§ Toasting lever must be in the 'UP'
position before attaching or
disconnecting the plug from wall
outlet.
§ Do not insert metal objects or other
utensils into the toaster, as this will
cause an electric shock or cause a fire.
§ Do not leave the toaster unattended
while in operation.
§ Due to constant up gradation,
specifications & features are subject to

§ The appliances are not intended to be
operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote control
system.
User’s instructions:
Bread can be toasted as follows: Push the
plug into the socket and turn on the toaster
using the bread carriage handle.
Note: When using the appliance for the first
time, it will emit some smoke. This is
normal and it will stop by itself after a few
minutes.
§ The stop button with power light - this
light comes on automatically once the
toaster is turned on. The stop button is
there to prematurely stop the toasting
process.
§ Place the bread in the toaster clip. The
clip can be opened by pushing
together by hand. Place the clip in the
toaster slot. Do not leave the toaster
unattended, but stay in the vicinity to
ensure the bread does not burn,
because the toaster is turned off by
the timer but the toast does not spring
up by itself.
§ Experiment for yourself to find the
perfect toasting time. The optimal
time changes depending on the
freshness of the bread, and on the
other ingredients such as cheese or
meats. We advise you to alternate the
two toaster clips half way through the
toasting process. This will ensure that
the bread is evenly browned.
§ Do not use a knife, fork or other utensil
to remove the bread from the toaster
or to clean the toaster. If the bread
becomes lodged in the toaster, unplug
the appliance before attempting to
remove it.
§ The top of the appliance becomes hot
because metal conducts heat so well.
Therefore do not touch the outside of
the toaster during use and keep well
out of reach of children.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
First unplug the cord from socket.
Clean the toaster after each use. This
prevents leftover food from becoming
encrusted in the appliance. Let the toaster
cool down after use. Take out the crumb
tray at the left underside, but first remove
the plug from the socket and remove any
crumbs or pieces of bread. Clean the
exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive or strong detergents. Never
submerge the toaster in water or other
liquid. You can clean the toast tongs and
the crumb tray in soapy water. Never
attempt to clean the inside of the toaster.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified in order to avoid
a hazard.
The bread may burn, therefore do not use
the toaster near or below combustible
material, such as curtains.
The appliances are not intended to be
operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
