All sound systems used are to be secured against toppling or falling in the manner required
by the carriers of the statutory accident insurances for studio or stage areas. Appropriate
directions can be found in BGV C1, BGI 810-3 or corresponding local national safety guide-
lines.
Amongst other things, this regulation stipulates that mobile sound equipment must be
secured from falling
Ensure that all connections are secured against coming loose and that only authorized,
statically tested and correctly sized supports, mounting equipment, wire ropes and chains
are used.

At a vertical rigging without a K&F U-Mount you have to fix the
loudspeaker at the upper or bottom connection points. The rear
connection points are only suitable for additional tying off the
speaker.
The two mounting devices (chains, wire ropes) have to be inde-
pendent and parallel and must be implemented with zero drop
height.

At an horizontally rigging without a K&F ceiling bracket you have to
fix the loudspeaker at one flying point each side. The rear connec-
tion points are only suitable for additional tying off the speaker.

pendent and parallel and must be implemented with zero drop
height.
