Mounting
Before mounting this product, read and follow the safety recommendations indicated in the
Safety Notes .
Orientation
Always mount this product in a safe position, making sure there is adequate room for
ventilation, configuration, and maintenance.
Installation
The Ilumipod 7 IP Optic WW includes a plate to mount it on any firm, non-flammable
surface, whether horizontally, vertically, on the floor, or overhead. The articulated arm
that connects the light to the base is adjustable and it can swivel, thus providing full
angle control. A spike is included for mounting this product on soil (gardens and large
flowerpots). ILUMINARC
® recommends following the general guidelines below when
mounting the Ilumipod 7 IP Optic WW.
· When selecting an installation location, consider ease of access to the product for
operation and routine maintenance.
· Make sure the product’s mounting location can support its weight. Please see the
Technical Specifications section of this manual for the weight requirements of this
product.
Procedure
The Ilumipod 7 IP Optic WW comes with a mounting base and a stake which connect
to the arm of the product. The mounting plate has four (4) 8.3 mm holes on the corners
to mount the product in any orientation to almost any surface capable of supporting the
weight of this product. The stake can be pushed into the ground and turned in a
clockwise direction to lock it down.
