4. Operation and mounting
In this article, the basic functions of water flow
detector are explained. Read this chapter through
carefully so that you understand and can use all of
the functions.
4.1 Selection of mounting site
It is recommended that multiple water flow
detectors be installed in the residence or building.
Water flow detectors should be installed anywhere
where corresponding amounts of humidity or
water damage could occur.
For use in the kitchen, bathroom, WC, basement,
furnace room or garage.
4.2 Installation and set-up
NOTE: An water flow detector can simply be
stopped by removing the battery from the battery
clip. The water flow detector is powered by a
battery and needs no other electical power supply.
