CONNECt tO YOUR SYNC
1. Turn on iOS device, but DO NOT turn on the Sync (or turn off your Sync if it is already on). You will need to update
your settings on your iOS device before you can turn on your Sync to pair it with your iOS device (in Step 5 below).
2. From your Home Screen, Launch “Settings”
3. Select “Bluetooth” option
4. Turn “Bluetooth” on by sliding (Slider turns green iOS
7 or Blue iOS 6.X when “On”)
5. At this point turn on Sync by holding “Save”
button at the same time as pressing the “Power
on” switch. (Make sure Sync and mobile device
are within 20 feet) [Note: If you press “Erase”
button at the same time as pressing the “Power
on” switch, you make the Bluetooth inactive
(sometimes referred to as “Airplane Mode”)]
6. “Sync” should show up in list of devices. Select “Sync” to initiate pairing.
a. Troubleshooting; If “Sync” does not show up in the list, turn the Sync off and
repeat step 5.
i. Turn your iOS device’s Bluetooth off and back on again.

to enter Bluetooth discoverable mode
