Thank you for purchasing
this XAOC Devices product.
Warna is a quite self-
explanatory yet extremely
useful utility module that
helps you to work with con-
trol voltages in your system.
You can use it to distribute
voltage sources precisely,
to swap their polarity, then
to mix your CVs and audio
signals together.

inSTaLLaTiOn

Unplug your modular system
from the power source first.
Clear a 6hp space in your
eurorack cabinet, and plug
the power connector into the
bus board so the red band
points right towards the
–12V rail (usually the lower
one). Although the module is
protected against backwards
power connections, it is
always a good habit to pay
attention to this. Tighten the
supplied mounting screws
and you’re ready to go.

COnTrOLS & OPEraTiOn

Warna sports five normalled
sections: two buffered mults,
two inverters and a mixer.
Each multiple routes the input

signal to separated outputs

without any voltage loss.

Warna is designed for unity
gain – if you apply a specific
voltage to any input

, it remains the same on the

respective outputs.

Inverters

are hardwired to

mults and invert the polarity
of the signal applied to mults.
The two-colour LEDs

in-

dicate the status of the signal
applied–yellow for negative
part of the voltage and red
for positive.

Both mults are also nor-
malled to the mixer section
via inputs

. Patching any-

thing to these inputs breaks
the normalization. Mixer
LED

indicates the status of

mixer sum output

If mixing several high signals
causes an overdrive, please
consider attenuating them .
